History Of SMS

  • The first SMS is sent from the Vodafone GSM network in the United Kingdom on 3rd  December 1992, by Neil Papworth of Sema Group using a computer.

  • The market of SMS is being repeatedly increasingly by IP (Internet Protocol) based messaging services like Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, iMessage, Viber, WeChat, and Line.

For All these OTT applications you have to download the application and registered with you mobile number. They scan the contact list that uses the same application and allow you to send messages and all multimedia.

Integration Capabilities:- An individual can send SMS when he/she is busy while Driving while on meeting or in any other function. 


All the cellular carriers provide 100 SMS a day To their customer. you just need to buy the plan and then you can send 100 SMS a day within your country. 

Sending SMS Messages

Mainly there are two ways to send a SMS messages.

p2p messaging , p2p sms
  1. P2P:- P2P (person to person) sending SMS from one mobile device to another mobile device is known as P2P messaging 

  2. A2P:- A2P (Application-to-Person) Sending SMS form a computer to a mobile device is known as A2P messaging
